Can I cancel my order?

Products ordered can be cancelled  within 24 hours of purchase.

After 24 hours of purchase, your order will be shipped, and therefore cancellation of your order will not be possible. Please supply us with a notification of cancellation of your order as well as  a reason for your cancellation via email.

How do I make a return? 

Should you wish to return an item, please submit an email to enquiries@oneworldtextiles.com.au detailing the reason(s) for return. We will notify you via email whether your return request has been approved.  

When approved, please send returns to:

One World Textiles, PO Box 1060, Milton BC, Queensland 4064, AUSTRALIA.

One World Textiles will refund your purchase price via Paypal. You will be responsible for shipping and insurance.

Are All Your Products in Australian Dollars?

Yes all of our products are currently displayed in Australian Dollars. Click on this link to download a currency converter which you can save to your favourites  http://www.xe.com/ucc/

What forms of payment do you accept online? 

One World Textiles uses the Paypal payment processing system to process credit card payments.  International  and Australian customers can make payments using Visa or Mastercard.   International customers must use Paypal to purchase products. (Please Note: You do not need to sign up with Paypal as a member in order to send a payment to us via Paypal). 

Furthermore, customers will not be charged by Paypal to send payments via their processor. You will be billed in your local currency and your card company will convert the charges for you. By arrangement with One World Textiles, Australian customers can also pay via Direct Debit and Money Orders.  Please contact us via email at enquiries@oneworldtextiles.com.au, with details of the product(s) your wish to purchase, and we will provide our banking details.

For Large International Purchases we prefer payment via Telegraphic Transfer. Please email us at enquiries@oneworldtextiles.com.au  and let us know the items and quantities that you are interested in. We will send you a tax invoice for you to pay on, so you do not need to go through checkout on our website. We require 50% payment up front to place your order, with the remainder of the payment due prior to postage to you. We will provide you with our banking details and the appropriate Swift Code for you to perform the transfer.

One World Textiles do not accept personal cheques.

You mention in the descriptions that some product items are damaged or flawed. Why should I purchase an item that is damaged / flawed?

Many of the items for sale through One World Textiles have already been used in the home, and may therefore show signs of wear and tear.  Some pieces may also have undergone alteration and mending.

With rare and antique pieces you may need to be a little forgiving in obtaining such items. 

In our product descriptions and photographs we show and describe the true condition of the items as well as we possibly can. If you are requiring a piece in mint condition, it is recommended you contact us via email prior to purchasing. Our email address is enquiries@oneworldtextiles.com.au

How close are the items in appearance to your photos online?

One World Textiles cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of colours of product items in our digital photos, due to differences in lighting and the general restrictions on digital photographic images. 

All of our products have, however, been photographed in natural daylight conditions. It is also difficult to photographically capture the true beauty, detail and scale of these products. In real life the silk embroidery thread has a beautiful lustre, the colours tend to be richer, and the craftsmanship and detail of the embroidery stitches must truly be seen to be believed.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Items are posted from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. We ship the items via Australia Post regular postage. Product items are sent between 24 and 48 hours that payment is received / cleared.Standard Delivery Within Australia  - You will receive your order within 5-10 working days.

International Deliveries  - Countries outside Australia will receive orders in approximately 7-21 working days.

Where are you located? Do you have a Showroom?

One World Textiles are located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

We are currently only an internet - based business and therefore do not have a showroom.

What are the Washing / Care Instructions associated with your products? 

Due to the delicate nature of our products, we recommend professional dry cleaning. 

Do you offer discounts for large orders?           

We offer discounts for large wholesale orders.

How much will shipping cost? 

The shipping cost for your order is determined by weight, and will be calculated at checkout. 

Australian customers making payments via direct deposit or money order are to contact us via email at enquiries@oneworldtextiles.com.au for shipping cost. 

What about taxes and import duties in my country?

Customers are responsible for checking whether taxes and import duties are applicable in their country.     

Can you deliver to my PO Box?

We post using Australia Post regular postage, and therefore deliveries can be made to PO Boxes. 

Can I search for products at One World Textiles?

Yes, we have a search facility on each page online at www.oneworldtextiles.com.au

Do you ship internationally?

While we have set our ordering and shipping rules to send to most countries, we haven’t allowed for every destination.

If you would like to place an order  with us but your shipping costs are not being calculated in checkout, please email us your address details and we will add your country to our destination list, and notify you via email when you can proceed to place your order online.
